The Energy market is governed by increasingly stringent legislation and regulations. Governments demand more and more sustainability with the aim of accelerating the energy transition. For example, as of 2023 office premises should have at least the C energy rating. Furthermore, the Paris Climate Accord states that all buildings must be carbon-neutral by 2050. All these factors play a role.
Infrastructure plays a crucial role in our economy, transport, and mobility. Replacing and/or modernising continues to be essential and supports environmental and social aims and objectives. The arrival of smart technologies contributes to developing our infrastructure. However, climate change plays a role too.
