VINCI Energies and Corporate Social Responsibility
VINCI Energies, and its brands, is aware of its social role and responsibilities, and therefore it carries out many projects that contribute to improving daily life and that shape tomorrow’s world. To be able to work in this world effectively and sustainably, we have to comply with all kinds of laws, rules, standards, and values focused on social responsibility and sustainability.
All VINCI Energies employees endorse the VINCI Group’s eight commitments of Corporate Social Responsibility as described in the Manifesto. The Manifesto is derived from the objectives of the UN Global Compact, which was signed by VINCI in 2002.
VINCI Energies has EcoVadis Silver rating
Each year, VINCI Energies Netherlands is assessed by EcoVadis. Our organisation and all our brands and business units are then tested in terms of our Corporate Social Responsibility policy on 21 topics grouped in the areas of Environment, Social and Governance (ESG). Ethical entrepreneurship, attention to solutions that lead to the preservation of a future-proof living environment, healthy labor relations, human rights and a sustainable supply chain are spearheads in this regard. EcoVadis rewarded us with a Silver rating for our CSR policy. This puts us in the top 15% of all companies in the EcoVadis database.
This fills us with pride because we know that only sustainable enterprise contributes to our right to exist and a License to Operate that takes into account society’s expectations.
CO₂ Performance Ladder Level 5 certificate
VINCI Energies also has its environmental position tested each year by way of the CO₂ Performance ladder. This way it monitors progress and works on the action points in the area of carbon-aware actions in its business operations and project implementation in order to achieve its targets. Since 2022, VINCI Energies and all its brands and business units have a CO₂ Performance Ladder Level 5 certification.
